The Spotlight Spectacular! event was held on Monday, May 5, 2008 at the Sheraton Boston Hotel and Towers. The event was hosted by Academy Award-winning actress Olympia Dukakis, and chaired by Huntington Trustee Kristine Scoon and her husband, Davey.
At the event, we presented Huntington Trustee Carol Deane and her husband, Disque, with The Wimberly Award, the Huntington's highest honor, in recognition of their outstanding commitment to the organization.
The event was a great success, with moments of laughter, exciting performances, and heartfelt gratitude. It truly was an evening to remember, and we extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone involved for all of the time, effort, and energy that they put forth on our behalf.
The proceeds from this auction and benefit event help to support the vital programs of the Huntington, including its award-winning Youth, Education, and Community Outreach Programs.
